description The purpose of this article is to reflect on an rarely-explored aspect in the Social Sciences: the relationship between popular education, popular movements and recreational activities. Fifty years after the publication of Paulo Freire "Pedagogy of the oppressed", we encourage the scenario of play and play understood as joint political actions, and the main influence in social political organizations formed. To expose, we analyze several components related to the playful dimension of popular Education: a) How spaces of popular movements are formed; b) the forms of "appearance" of movements in the streets, how they build a playful aesthetic of protest and deploy it in public space. Our hypothesis has the purpose of understanding that playful practice, as political praxis, allows to "foreshadow" alternative elements to the logic of reproduction of the capitalist, colonialist and patriarchal system, endowing the subjects in struggle with a repertoire of practices, discourses and novel imaginaries.
