description This report portrays the process of building, collecting and discussing data from a study that aimed to map the coping-with-violence against women network at a western center city of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It is a qualitative research of explanatory nature. Contact with participants was performed by Snowball sampling strategy. The results were divided into two articles, the first presents the key services and network strategies, the second one presents an analysis about the main difficulties to perform the work. The main results converge to show the reduction of public investment in women's policies and coping policy, as well as the growing disruption.
