description The present paper analyzes five interviews with women who joined the Workers Revolutionary Party - Revolutionary Army of the People (PRT-ERP) in the Province of Mendoza between 1973 and 1976. The article investigates the subjects’ experiences that motivated them to join an active guerilla movement in a province whose hegemonic historiography has been described as traditionally calm and depoliticized. The following discussion attempts to articulate these women’s actions and their meanings from a popular perspective from bellow and using the categories of gender and class to frame the discussion..
