Sumario:This study presents a cross-section on the experiences of integration of foreign immigrants in the intercultural and educational context of Mato Grosso. These experiences are related to the Unified State Education System. We draw a clipping at the moment addressing the main motivations of these immigrants. From a qualitative perspective, with bibliographical analysis of texts referring to foreign immigrants, and application of a script of semi-structured questions to guide the collective conversations and the positions. The study involved three Public institutions that work in education for foreign immigrants in Cuiabá-Mato Grosso: Center for Youth and Adults - JSCA Almira Amorim; State School Heleodoro Capistrano and State School Leovegildo de Melo. The results point to a need to deepen the conjunctural and political causes that drive collective immigration, the need to understand the ways to mitigate the impacts among diverse cultures, understanding intercultural coexistences as spaces and fields of interservice and the enrichment of education in Mato Grosso .
