Sumario:This paper studies Lorca’s work facing the problems set out by the canon and its disobediences. We stand on the peculiarity of the aesthetic enunciation of fortuitous love in his impossible surrealist comedy El público, which allows to re-read some of his most famous texts with the intention of tracking the footprints of this topic. In Yerma and Doña Rosita la soltera the discourse on fortuitous love is not evident, but remains in deep textual strata which have not been studed this way. We will focus on the ideas of pansexualism and transgender that articulates nowadays with the awareness of the diversity and the queer universe, so difficult for critics and audiences in the years between the belated appearance of this material and our critical present.
