| Sumario: | Our main intention in this presentation is a reading of the pigliana nouvelle, False Name (1975), from the perspective of alternative detective novels. That is to say, make the narration work as an alternative detective story through a story in which a character plays an intellectual, creative and literary game allowing the reader to take a new position against fiction and the role of investigator.
Thus, we see that the role of the reader as detective in the nouvelle pigliana is highlighted, and the "enigma is not intrinsically linked to the crime", two relevant features of the contemporary alternative detective novel. |
