description Museum institutions with indigenous archaeological collections on display currently make up one of the main ways that intervene in society's apprehension of the pre-Hispanic past. It is considered that are inserted in the dialectic of the production of meanings and social representations and, therefore, they must be analyzed based on the communicative relations they generate. This work discusses the archaeological communication strategies developed at the Museo Ignacio Balvidares of Puan, a public institution in the Buenos Aires municipality of Puan, Argentina. For these purposes, a synthesis of the analysis of institutional communication practices and the participatory links established between the museum, professional archaeologists and the local community is presented, in pursuit of the collective construction of regional archaeological knowledge. This work contributes to the analysis of the possible insertions and interventions of the archaeological disciplinary field in the territory. Likewise, it provides elements for reflection on the functions and possibilities offered by museum institutions as spaces for dialogue between different actors linked to archaeological heritage, interpreters of archaeological collections and builders of social representations of the indigenous past.

Las instituciones museísticas con acervos arqueológicos indígenas en exposición, componen actualmente una de las principales vías que intervienen en la aprehensión del pasado prehispánico por parte de la sociedad. Se considera que se insertan en la dialéctica de la producción de sentidos y de representaciones sociales y, por lo tanto, deben ser analizados a partir de las relaciones comunicativas que generan. En este trabajo se discuten las estrategias de comunicación arqueológica desarrolladas en el Museo Ignacio Balvidares de Puan, institución pública del municipio bonaerense de Puan, Argentina. Para tales fines, se presenta una síntesis del análisis de las prácticas comunicativas institucionales y de los vínculos participativos establecidos entre museo, arqueólogos profesionales y la comunidad local, en pos de la construcción colectiva del conocimiento arqueológico regional. Este trabajo contribuye al análisis de las inserciones e intervenciones posibles del campo disciplinar arqueológico en el territorio. Igualmente, aporta elementos para la reflexión sobre las funciones y posibilidades que ofrecen las instituciones museísticas como espacios de diálogo entre diferentes actores vinculados al patrimonio arqueológico, intérpretes de colecciones arqueológicas y constructores de representaciones sociales del pasado indígena. As instituições museológicas com coleções arqueológicas indígenas expostas constituem atualmente uma das principais formas de intervenção na apreensão da sociedade sobre o passado pré-hispânico. Considera-se que estão inseridos na dialética da produção de significados e representações sociais e, portanto, devem ser analisados ​​a partir das relações comunicativas que geram. Este trabalho discute as estratégias de comunicação arqueológica desenvolvidas no Museu Ignacio Balvidares de Puan, uma instituição pública do município de Puan, em Buenos Aires, Argentina. Para o efeito, apresenta-se uma síntese da análise das práticas de comunicação institucional e dos vínculos participativos estabelecidos entre o museu, os arqueólogos profissionais e a comunidade local, na prossecução da construção colectiva do conhecimento arqueológico regional.
