Sumario:The launching of the documentary El Diálogo, in 2014, was a key instance for the formation of the Cambiemos coalition at the cultural level. In it, the member of the CONADEP and mother of a disappeared person, Graciela Fernández Meijide, exchanges views on the seventies in Argentina with the philosopher and former member of the armed organization Montoneros, Héctor Leis. Based on the documentary, "dialogue tables" were developed between people who were presented as opposites and who, in spite of this - or because of it - could talk: from officials and cultural managers, to intellectuals, academics, relatives of the disappeared and descendants of military officers condemned for their actions during the dictatorship. In these panels and conversations, the different participants aimed to put into practice a value that was enunciated in the public speeches of Cambiemos' electoral campaign for the 2015 presidential elections: dialogue. Through the analysis of secondary sources and a series of in-depth interviews with some of the actors who participated in these spaces, this article aims to analyze dialogue as a political category and as a value with cohesive effects within the partisan environment of PRO-Cambiemos.
