Sumario:Researches on Argentina's recent history, especially the approaches on different aspects of the last civic-military dictatorship (1976-1983), have had a fruitful and vast development. However, considering the analytical approach regarding the work of left political organizations, such progress lacks comprehensiveness, presenting partial and heterogeneous approaches. In this sense, this article seeks to contribute, from the intertwining of political history and political analysis, to this field of study in development, to the understanding of different positions of left political parties in Argentina (PC, PCR, PO, PST, FIP y PRT-ERP) before the establishment of the last civic-military dictatorship in the country, based on a thorough job with primary sources.
