Sumario:The objective was to describe the levels of psychosocial factors in a sample of workers in a transport company in Santiago, Chile. The short version of the instrument ISTAS-21 was applied to 290 people (186 men and 106 women). The results found that there are no risks of psychosocial factors regarding the norm, but very close to the Compensations factor. Statistically significant differences were found in the Social Support dimension with higher risk for men (t=3.112; p=0.002), higher risk in Active Work and Skills Development for assistants with no people in charge (t=2.158; p=0.32) and in Active Work and Double Presence being the ages between 25 and 34, the period with the higher risk in these dimensions. Interesting results are seen for the studied population in such an exposed sector as the transport service, showing differences that should be considered for future studies.
