Sumario:This article follows the studies on territorial transformations due to agribusiness expansion and presents an exploratory analysis of the conflicts over the agrochemicals use in Santiago del Estero. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, it analyzes the political framework, linking the socio-environmental problems generated by the use of pesticides in the field of environmental law and human rights. Also, it presents a characterization of environmental conflicts due to fumigation and spraying in the province, classifying by type of actors, type of damage invoked, actions carried out and resolution (or its absence), which allows us to reflect on their societal effects.
