Sumario:The theme that runs through these pages emphasizes an epistemological and political perspective critical to the Eurocentric and colonial social, political and cultural order. From here I propose some of my research hypotheses of recent years in relation to considering how? And what production of knowledge from social and societal movements in and from Latin America? For these reasons, I focus on revisiting the idea of ​​social movements and the displacement towards the conceptualization of societal movements based on reconsidering the forms of the political beyond the state-centric logic and a possible decolonization of democracy.
