| Sumario: | In this presentation we present a letter sent to the General in Rome by the Provincial of Paraguay, Francisco Vázquez Trujillo, which makes specific mention of a visit he made to the villages of the Paraná and Uruguay regions in 1629. There are not many testimonies of this type of visit and our primary intention was to show the type of festive reception that took place in these places, although due to the variety of information it contains, it could be a complement to the Carta Anua of his period of government, which is truncated just at the moment of describing the reductions. |
