Sumario:This work proposes an experiential visit to different geographies in the province of Córdoba, attempting to link the territory with the voice of the social actors who inhabit it. It shows, based on different socio-environmental conflicts, that the blemishes to the land that devastate ecosystems and natural environments are, in reality, within the framework of a governmental proposal for "development". This development is produced by massive pharaonic works through which the State adopts policies that disfigure the territory. Through fieldwork and first-person exploration of the cases, the destruction of priceless natural and cultural heritage is photographed and witnessed. This destruction causes a network of environmental damage that is increasingly marked and difficult to reverse. Based on critical and radical geographies, the author explains how Cordobesismo seeks to identify itself as a kind of "provincial patriotism" that links the identity and sense of belonging to Cordoba, with its own symbols and with public or private undertakings that always conflict with the environment. Furthermore, this action is highlighted as an all-encompassing practice that includes the rest of the state powers: both the ruling majority in the legislature and a large part of the judiciary endorse this ecocidal action.
