| Sumario: | This article describes interdisciplinary work between different civil associations, and formal and non-formal educational institutions conducted to benefit teachers, teacher training students, persons with disabilities and their parents. The aim of this project was to exchange experiences and knowledge in order to promote a better quality of life for persons with disabilities, especially those with Down syndrome. The different activities aroused the interest of participants and raised awareness about the need to take responsibility as citizens for the inequalities and exclusions that a sector of our society continues to suffer. These workshops proposed inclusion guides for teachers and aimed at designing a more inclusive offer of extracurricular activities based on solidarity and respect. |
