| Sumario: | In this paper I presents the results of the analysis of the lithic micro remains of La Represa site, located in the Interserrana Bonaerense Area (Buenos Aires Province, Argentina), corresponding to an occupation of hunter-gatherers of the late Holocene. The general goal was to study the formation processes to determinate the cultural and natural agents which take part in the formation and modification of the deposited materials. Likewise, this studio proposes to evaluate the analysis of these types of remains to determinate what information they can provide to research in similar sites in the area. For this, the applied methodology combines the recovery and analysis techniques used in sedimentology with traditional morphological/typological studies and the taphonomy of lithic artifacts. The study of this type of remains has proven to be useful to discuss past human behavior in others archaeological contexts, offering a new perspective of analysis. |
