Sumario:This paper presents the first absolute dates obtained for the prehistoric site Laguna Blanca, conducted by AMS on ceramic fragments recovered during the archaeological campaign of 2014. Until now, they had not recovered archaeological materials that allow obtain absolute dates to precisely locate Laguna Blanca at local and regional archaeological landscape. In this sense, the datings presented here are the first for the site, allowing us to supplement existing information for the characterization. This site constitutes a representative of the deposits of the Uruguayan Atlantic-coast platense, which allows us to resize existing information for the characterization of coastal sites example.
