The body is the object of social representations and imaginaries because it is part of the social and cultural construction of any society. In this sense, the research aimed to identify and describe the social representations that prevail around corporality in childhood in the ages, of the members of the health team of the Hospital of Children of the Holy Trinity (City of Córdoba). The study recovered the voice, perspective and practices of children and adolescents about their own body, as well as the practices and expressions of professionals in relation to their corporality in the particular context of a pediatric hospital. The research carried out is of a descriptive and exploratory nature, with a qualitative and inductive design. It is a retrospective study made from records of workshops, team meetings and social charts of Diabetes Programs and the Project of Integral Promotion of Sexual and Reproductive Rights. The objective of this work is to reflect on the processes of attention-health-illness from a frame of respect towards children and adolescents. El cuerpo es objeto de representaciones e imaginarios sociales y como construcción social y cultural se constituye en materia simbólica. La investigación que se presenta[1] se propuso “identificar y describir las representaciones sociales que prevalecen en torno a la corporalidad en la niñez en niñas, niños y adolescentes (NNyA), como así también las de los efectores de salud del Hospital de Niños de la Santísima Trinidad de la ciudad de Córdoba (en adelante Hospital de Niños). El estudio recupera la voz, perspectiva y prácticas de NNyA sobre su propio cuerpo y sistematiza prácticas y expresiones profesionales en torno a la corporalidad de estas/os en el contexto particular de un hospital pediátrico. La investigación es de carácter descriptivo y exploratorio, con diseño de tipo cualitativo e inductivo. Es un estudio retrospectivo realizado a partir de registros de talleres, reuniones de equipo y fichas sociales del Programas de Diabetes y el Proyecto de Promoción Integral de Derechos Sexuales y Reproductivos. Este trabajo intentó contribuir y propiciar procesos de atención-salud-enfermedad (ASE) respetuosos e integrales hacia niñas, niños y adolescentes. [1] La investigación de referencia: “Niñez y Corporalidad: Representaciones en torno a la Corporalidad de niños, niñas y adolescentes en un hospital pediátrico” (2015/2018).
