| Sumario: | This article reconstructs the participation of a women's art group called El Escuadrón de la Gubia, specialized in printmaking andbased at the Escuela de Bellas Artes Lino Spilimbergo (Río Tercero, Argentina). It has participated in the official commemorationsof the 25th anniversary of the explosions at the Río Tercero Military Factory (1995) which are held every November 3 and 24.The Escuadrón called its intervention Acción #3N Intervención #RíoTercero #25AñosIMPUNIDAD, and it consisted of showing25 micro-stories or testimonies, in 25 shops in the city, of people who suffered the first detonation. We will analyze this action fromtwo artistic activism perspectives, the first one is proposed by Expósito et al. (2012), and the second one by Groys (2018). Thiswill allow us to think about whether this intervention is close to artivism, and whether if it can be considered to have reinforcedsocial memory. |
