| Sumario: | Since 2003, Mercosur has been developing integration policies tending to produce political processes ofa cultural and educational nature that gives a different stamp to the integration process, as it has been characterizedpractically since its creation, by commercial-competitive policies among the member countries of the same. As follows,political practices in the field of cultural diplomacy appear between the countries that are part of a new phase in theregional integration process. Therefore, it seeks to analyze how the cultural diplomacy carried out by Mercosur betweenthe years 2003-2015 by the national-popular governments called progressives, was used as a strategic tool to strengthenthe post-liberal integration model of the period. Specifically, in this article, the cultural public policies focused on theregional cultural heritage of Mercosur will be deepened. |
