Sumario:In recent decades, the feminist movement laid the foundations for the study of masculinities. This article analyzes how in their choice of career and in their path through theNational University of Córdoba, men ascribe or modify gender "territories". Within the framework of the qualitative methodological strategy, twenty semi-structured interviews were taken. Data were examined under the Glaser and Strauss constant comparison method, using Atlas ti software. The statements of men from "masculine territories" and "feminine territories" are compared. Men from both “territories” reproduce the prevailing norms of hegemonic masculinity. They also see gender discussion spaces as belonging to women. The social work career is presented as a space in which the problematization of gender operates facilitating in its subjectivity the denaturalization regarding hegemonic masculinity and heteronorm.
