Its objectives consist of examining the epistolary field as a laboratory of ideas during the preparation of his academic production, reestablishing the mechanisms of circulation of the historical work and the formationof circles of academic cooperation. The discussion frame of the work rests on the recent modulations of the notions of archive and archives of itself; and it problematizes the relations between private writings (letters, autobiographies, intimate diaries) and public writings (historical production). Offers, based on a first cartography of the epistolary collection, an overview of his main correspondents, during his practice of religious history. Este trabajo presenta los resultados más recientes de una investigación sobre el archivo epistolar inédito del historiador sacerdote Américo Tonda (1916-1984). Sus objetivos consisten en examinar el espacio epistolar como un laboratorio de ideas durante la preparación de su producción académica, restablecer los mecanismos de circulación de la obra histórica y la conformación de círculos de cooperación intelectual. El marco de reflexión del trabajo reposa en las modulaciones recientes de las nociones de archivo y de archivos de sí; problematiza las relaciones entre escrituras privadas (cartas, autobiografías, diarios íntimos) y escrituras públicas (producción histórica). Ofrece, sobre la base de una primera cartografía del acervo epistolar, un panorama sobre sus principales corresponsales en el transcurso de su práctica de la historia religiosa.
