Sumario:The periodical publications of institutions for the purpose of military associations, such as the Revista del Círculo Militar / Revista Militar, have been scarcely used due to their character as a historiographical source for the study of the past of the war and of the military. The objective of this article is to analyze the role of the publications of the Military Circle, between 1910 and 1920, in order to determine its incidence on the process of professionalization of the Army and its derivations towards the conformation of a military thought at the beginning of the 20th century. In this sense, we maintain that the dissemination bodies of the Círculo Military pursued associationist goals that shaped the conceptions and professional practices of the officers, and their registration in the social, cultural and political environment of the early twentieth century.
