Sumario:In this article a cartography of care is built based on an ethnographic analysis of girls and boys living in poverty conditions in a peripheral neighborhood of La Plata, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. This cartography is a representation of the concrete ways in which the childhood care is organized, allowing to reflect about the multiple practices, actors and senses that during caring, shape the childhood experiences. Traced from a disadvantaged positions in the relation of social inequality, this cartography allows to delve into the specific ways in which society and state relate with care, while allowing to see the participation of girls and boys in a network in which they also care for other social subjects.
