Sumario:The author discusses the main characteristics of the “Convention on the Rights of the Child”; including the legal consequences arising from the principle of best interests of the child, looks at the value given by the Supreme Court of Justice to the interpretative declaration contained in the act of ratification, and indicates the elements to be taken into account when interpreting a treaty in light of the work on the topic “Reservations to treaties” of the International Law Commission and the jurisprudence of regional human rights courts.
