Sumario:This work is an attempt to present a conceptual synthesis of a research team's work, that has been inquiring on popular music. This team has taken part in the research program "Discourses as practises", initially directed by Danuta T. Mozejko and Ricardo L. Costa, until its dissolution in 2017. Since then, it stills work independently considerating production, circulation and consumption of popular music as discursive practises. From that point of view this article develops some concepts vinculated to the discourse and music relation, to the articulation among musical production and reception practises, and to the affective/emotional dimension of the popular music production and consumption.
