However, dispensing with chemical inputs and transforming conventional systems to others with an agroecological approach entails a certain complexity for the producers. The possibility of starting an agroecological transition by the producers does not depend only on their will, on the contrary, there are various objective and symbolic structuring conditions that shape the way of thinking and acting of the producers in the face of the conflict. This article will focus on those conditioning aspects related to the place of knowledge and technical processes. Finally, a reflection on the role of professionals and the production of scientific knowledge from an interdisciplinary approach is shared. All this, based on the research guided by the ethnographic approach in the scenario of socio-environmental conflict around the use of agrochemicals in the district of General Las Heras, Buenos Aires, Argentina. La agroecología se presenta como una solución esperanzadora para el conflicto socioambiental relacionado al uso de agroquímicos. Sin embargo, prescindir de insumos químicos y transformar sistemas convencionales a otros de enfoque agroecológico conlleva cierta complejidad para los/as productores/as. La posibilidad de iniciarse en una transición agroecológica por parte de los/as productores/as no depende únicamente de su voluntad, por el contrario, existen diversas condiciones estructurantes objetivas y simbólicas que moldean la forma de pensar y actuar de los productores ante el conflicto. En el presente artículo se hará foco en aquellos aspectos condicionantes relacionados al lugar del conocimiento y los procesos técnicos. Finalmente se comparte una reflexión acerca del rol de los profesionales y la producción del conocimiento científico desde un enfoque interdisciplinario. Todo ello, a partir de la investigación guiada por el enfoque etnográfico en el escenario de conflicto socioambiental en torno al uso de agroquímicos en el partido de General Las Heras, Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades.
