The focus is particularly on Rui Mauro Marini, Theotônio dos Santos and Vânia Bambirra, a group of intellectuals who started their professional career at Universidade de Brasília (UnB), when University had just been founded. With the 1964 coup, they were persecuted, arrested and decided for exile. After the Amnesty Law, they returned to Brazil and had problems with reintegration. The lack of warm reception and the treatment given to the returnees reveal the obstacles of the Brazilian transition. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar el regreso del exilio político a Brasil tras la amnistía de 1979. La atención se centra especialmente en Rui Mauro Marini, Theotônio dos Santos y Vânia Bambirra, un grupo de intelectuales que iniciaron su trayectoria profesional en la Universidad de Brasilia (UnB), cuando ésta acababa de ser fundada. Con el golpe de 1964, fueron perseguidos, detenidos y optaron por el exilio. Tras la Ley de Amnistía, volvieron a Brasil y tuvieron problemas para reintegrarse. La falta de acogida y el trato dispensado a los retornados revelan los contratiempos de la transición brasileña.   O objetivo desse artigo é analisar o retorno do exílio político ao Brasil após a anistia, em 1979. O foco recai particularmente em Rui Mauro Marini, Theotônio dos Santos e Vânia Bambirra, um grupo de intelectuais que iniciou sua trajetória profissional na Universidade de Brasilia (UnB), quando a Universidade havia sido recém fundada. Com o golpe de 1964, eles foram perseguidos, presos e optaram pelo exílio. A partir da Lei de Anistia, retornaram ao Brasil e tiveram problemas de reintegração.
